(More customer reviews)I had a germanium diode overdrive pedal built once, and the best way to describe it is that at moderate gain levels, it does the U2 Joshua Tree sound. I was instantly able to get the tone of songs like "Pride", "Where the Streets Have No Name", etc. That's the type of tone you get at moderate gain. This pedal likely goes there and more... it definitely gets a mention on my wish list!
