This pedal is great for a 'cocked wah' tone in one pedal. If you're not familiar with that tone check out the playing of Mick Ronson or Michael Schenker. The traditional cocked wah technique involves running a wah pedal (Cry Baby, Vox, etc.) into a distortion pedal or cranked amp. Instead of rocking the wah as you play, you find a tone you like with the wah and leave it stationary. If you are looking for a traditional overdrive/fuzz pedal-- this one is not for you. But it is great at its specific duty.
