I wanted to get that gritty punk sound and still throw down a few classic rock covers when needed but didn't want to spend a ton of money on different pedals... This pedal fit the bill... I basically opened the box.. pluged it in and rocked out. Only thing to recommend is that you go ahead and have a DC 9 volt plug adapter when you get it because it doesn't come with one. Other than that, great purchase.
